Okay ladies so I have 3 choices I can choose from:

#1- go with a certified professional midwife and do a home birth. If transfer is needed I live 2 minutes away from a hospital but the only thing is the hospital is not the best in the area but it’s still decent enough.

#2- go with the certified midwife but birth at her birthing center. Her birthing center is 5 minutes away from a hospital for transfer and this hospital is a very good one in the area.

#3- go through an obgyn clinic and go with a hospital birth at the best hospital in the area

Which option would you choose and why? I’m torn because I had a very great and short birth with my son but I spent the whole time fighting to be able to labor peacefully (wasn’t allowed to stay in the tub, was being forced to lay in bed, wouldn’t allow me to use my peanut, wouldn’t allow me to use my birthing ball, even went as far as a nurse to push my husband away because him rubbing my back was messing with the monitor) and constantly having to deny pain medication, I’m worried about having to deal with that stress again.
