For women who are over 35 and TTC, are you pausing during COVID-19?

I'm 37, recently found out I'm pregnant with no 2, after 5 miscarriages in between. I figured time is running out for me so we carried on without any structure or meds or anything really. Bam! BFP

I'm 35 and my husband is 36 and we've still been TTC regardless.  It will take at least 8 weeks to get a first appointment and I have faith that this will all be calmer by then. Even if it isn't we're still going to keep going. You could live every day in fear of the unknown even without the covid 19.  None of us are promised tomorrow that's for sure so we're doing all we can while we can.  Hoping for yhe best but also preparing for the worst.

Im 35. Im waiting a couple of months until this gets a bit better. No one knows the effects of the virus on a fetus specially the first trimester. Plus it’s well known that a high fever causes birth defects and covids primary symptom is a fever. So I prefer not to put a baby at risk for a while. Also I would feel selfish consuming medical equipment and resources just because I want a baby when doctors and nurses need them for someone fighting for their lives.

I’m being forced to pause my IVF journey because transfers aren’t allowed at my clinic until things calm down and reopen, but we’re continuing to ttc the old fashioned way. I’ll admit I’m a little concerned about the idea of being pregnant right now, but we’ve been ttc for almost 2 years with no luck so I’m not very confident that we have any sort of chance naturally anyway.
