Sometimes I feel like my newborn doesn’t like me... she’s 8 days old and my first baby. I always imagined my baby being super attached to me, always wanting ME to hold her and getting calm when I do so.

Ever since I had her, we have bonded great, but I don’t see her doing anything different with me that shows that special mother-baby relationship. She seems to even want my husband more than me... is this something that will grow with time, or is it normal for newborns to not be super attached to anyone yet?

I do a lot of skin to skin and breastfeed/bottle feed already. It just makes me so sad that she’s indifferent to me :(
