So my son is 18months. I don’t whip him, I sometimes pop his hand or bottom to let him know he’s doing something bad, for example, he tried playing with the plug one time & I popped him. he cried, then came and hugged me, then goes to finish playing. Yes, sometimes he does try to hit back so I pop him again, harder this time. But that’s starting not to work.

I want to know, what are y’alls a way of disciplining your kids ? What do you do when your child does this or that? What helps when throwing a tantrum ?
