CM question

Ok so I am on cycle day 7 today and have had egg white CM all day. I usually ovulate days 12 or 14 with 26-28 day cycles. I don’t usually start using OPK until cycle day 9. Anyone with egg white CM days before ovulation? I’m confused. I will be testing with OPK in the morning for sure.
