2nd Birthday "Party"
Anyone else trying to figure out how to celebrate their LOs birthday during this? My son's birthday is 26 May, we will be on lockdown until at least 7th May here and to be honest probably longer. Even if lockdown is lifted I don't want a social gathering so soon after this (I'm also high risk, as is most my family). So I'm planning a little tea party and video calling all the family members so they can wish him a happy birthday and he can see his family. He loves helium balloons but if shops aren't open can I still get some balloon bouquets made up and delivered online? I'm also asking a family friend to make his cake, so she gets a bit of income also during this time. I just dont know if I should still get birthday banners etc, considering it'll only be me, my partner and our son. Also would it be acceptable to make care package type things for family with party food and cake so they get a little bit of celebration too? I don't want to do anything to risk anyone's health but I also want my son to have a nice birthday. Just confused what is right to do in this situation.
I'm asking family members to get presents delivered here and I'll wrap them also so less people are touching gifts etc.
