Any IVF help ?

I just had another laparoscopy & found one of my Fallopian tubes was very infected so it was removed & the doctor just told me I will need IVF. Not too sure how I feel about it 😔 Any information about IVF or any stories will be greatly appreciated

I'm sorry to hear that you're having such trouble. I had IVF to have my now 7 month old girl. I'm not going to lie, I was devastated when I was told IVF was our only option. But that feeling didn't last long, and the more I found out about it the more comfortable I felt about it. And to be honest when I found out exactly what we'd go through, from there it was the least stressful part of ttc. It finally felt like having a baby was a likely option, compared to feeling so hopeless before. We were lucky to get pregnant after the first round and have had 4 embryos frozen for later use. It was very quick for us too, with me having surgery/lap, going through the meds and finding out I was pregnant all within about 8 weeks. I'm booked in to see the dr next month to look at a frozen embryo transfer in Feb if possible. I'm actually excited about it, and the possibility of getting pregnant again. The bonus of being pregnant when you have endorsed is that you're generally pain free for the pregnancy and until your period comes back - double win in my book. I had a very positive experience with IVF and am more than happy to do it again. If you've got specific questions please ask away! Good luck xx
