Working mom's that are now working from home, have you been giving your babe more tv time?

I feel awful 😞  but its the only way I can get work done and conference calls. She only watches consistently when music comes on or when she hears a character she likes. I know about development and blah blah but we spend a good amount of time playing with toys and exploring when I'm not busy.

I’m not working from home but if I was I would definitely allow some screen time to keep her occupied and contained! 😬 I cannot imagine trying to work with this little girl constantly pulling the cats tails and trying to eat dog toys.

I HAVE to get work done sometimes and have to put super simple songs on in order to keep her content for a little while. When there's no deadline sometimes I cram all my work in after she goes to bed 😣

Don’t feel bad! It’s such a hard time right now. My little guy isn’t really interested in watching TV, but my older 2 have had a lot of screen time. My husband and I both work from home and it’s hard. Sometimes he takes the lead with the kids so I can have some uninterrupted time to work, and I do the same for him. He has a lot of conference calls and I don’t. We are all doing the best we can!

Yes. And I don’t feel guilty and neither should you. Idk about you but if we didn’t have a little tv (or more) for my kids then I’d be fired .... and we need my income. And saves my sanity some.

We did no tv prior to the quarantine. Now I’m using it multiple times a day to get work done. 🤷🏻‍♀️
