With all this negativity around the world and I’m sure everywhere you go you’re forced to speak or hear about COVID and the lockdowns and blah blah blah .... I thought I’d share AND WELCOME ALL OF YOU TO SHARE the funny or maybe not so funny false alarms!

Last weekend (let me remind you that last weekend was suppose to be a bad COVID-19 weekend in California. We were told to avoid grocery shopping or doing any essentials because it was suppose to be a bad week) we were FaceTiming with my sister in law while having breakfast. I got up to go to the bathroom and noticed that my underwear was very wet, there was no smell, no bleeding just super wet. I show my husband and his head went where mine did “water broke” I put on another pair of underwear and notice they to got wet so we called labor and delivery and without hesitation they told me to come in.... so you know PACK EVERYTHING, GRAB THE CAR SEAT, WE DIDN’T HAVE LUNCH OH GOD GRAB EVERY SNACK POSSIBLE!!

We get to the hospital, poor guy can’t even come in until we know for sure I’m admitted.... did a bunch of tests, had a bunch of things in my lady part, including the doctors fingers so far down there that I had to ask the nurse to hold my hand... everything was fine. Nothing was open not fluids.... the doctor in the most kind way ever told me that sometimes our babies push on our insides and without knowing it we might pee ourselves.... I freakin PEED MYSELF 😂 the horror I felt and embarrassment leaving that tiny triage room solo.... it’s a mama walk of shame warbling down that LONG hallway to the elevator to escape...... tell me your story so we can laugh and cry together!!!
