I am pretty sure my husband has OCD

Elizabeth

So my husband is very particular about things. I always joke he has undiagnosed OCD, but honestly it is not a joke I truly believe he does. It got worse after our first child and then calmed back down again. Now it is spiking again. Everything has its place and he will notice it immediately, his mom said he has always been like that. I can rearrange something because I like it better and next day it is back where it was. I took a bunch of stuff off my dresser and put it away in our office, next day it was all back on my dresser. He has to pick up and move things around as soon as he walks in the door. Yesterday my son and I picked up the living and everything was “where it is supposed to be”. My husband gets home and stood in the middle of the living room just looking. He started getting down on the floor looking under furniture and moving pillows and blankets. He had to find something. I asked him what he was looking for, he said something is off. So he walks over to the door and then asks where his flip flop was. He found it and replaced it and was able to move on. I am just waiting for it to calm down again. Today I yelled at him to just stop and go shower and stop touching things when he just got home from work. Anyone else deal with this personally or know someone like this? He won’t acknowledge an issue, and I just laugh it off after almost 10 years together.
