Okay I need to vent a little bit. I’m just having a really hard time trying to understand why most people are so negative when it comes to being pregnant at a younger age. I’ll be 21 when I have my first child but it makes me so angry when people assume I’m not happy about it or when they bring up the “are you sure you want to be with the person you chose and are you sure he can support you and your child” sh*t. I told my friend who’s got her life together, going to college, graduating a whole year early and everything and she made it seem like from now on I just have to “do it for me and my baby” but this is the first time we’ve talked in like 5 years and doesn’t even know my partner. It just kinda offended me but maybe she didn’t mean it that way? Why is is such a bad thing to be young and pregnant? Or at least why do people have to think so negatively about having a baby at an early age? It shouldn’t get to me but it does... this is why I haven’t really told anyone and it makes me really not look forward to telling people because i just can’t deal with the ignorance of some people..
