Induced?

Hello! I’ve been booked in to see the consultant the day before I turn 37 weeks to talk about inducing labour due to baby not putting on enough weight, just wondering if that means I’m most likely going to get induced? Any ladies from the uk experienced this? They also told me to pack my hospital bag before my consultant appointment. Also how quickly can they induced you, baby currently weighs 4 pounds 7oz at 35 weeks.

I actually have until the 29th of this month to go into labor on my own or I’m being induced.. again 😭 baby at 33 weeks + 3 days was weighing 6lbs 2ozs and as of the 15th he’s still
Measuring huge. My last previous inductions went fast but that’s only because I was already dilated to at least a 3 each time. I didn’t have bad experiences but this time I’d rather feel what it’s like to go into labor on my own hahaha.

they normally don’t like to induce until 37 weeks unless like it’s life or death you know. last time it took 3 days to get her to make her arrival, this time i’m set to be induced at 39 weeks per my request. unless something is medically wrong they can’t until then. i pray he comes before then because he’s measuring big! they’ll do what’s best for you and baby  and i hope it all goes smooth!
