Newspapers, media and the like make terrifying news as they get paid to. Research deeper and you will find out a lot more. CNN is the worst for fake news. 
My opinion.

I’ll watch it but I’ll also look into their sources. If a person/fact isn’t a credible source, then ignore it. But if they’re interviewing experts and have verifiable sources I think it’s worth it. Never get your news/info from only one source though.
