Little girls with very little hair?

Question

Anyone else have a toddler who still can’t seem to get good hair growth? I had pretty fine hair as a toddler, but my daughter’s is shorter. Any tips for healthy hair growth? Or anyone else with a kiddo who just seems to have slow hair growth? She will be 3 next month.

I have a photo of myself on my birthday when I turned 2, my mum had collected all my hair in the tiniest ponytail on the top of my head with a tiny now clip in. I do have really fine Nordic blonde hair, so my genes wouldn't give me thick great hair regardless, but after that birthday my hair really started to grow and is perfectly normal. Still really fine and Nordic blonde.

Hair grows when it wants to grow- but ways to help are to massage her scalp gently with a baby safe hair oil (like coconut), a few times a week to stimulate growth.

None of my kids grew hair very fast, and it was pretty fine. My oldest is 13 now and her hair is much thicker and past her shoulders. My youngest is just over 2 and looks just like your daughters. Never found anything that makes it grow, though.

My oldest has very fine hair and it was short even at 3.  She still has super baby fine hair at 13.  I don’t know that there is much you can do.  You could try a daily vitamin like flintstones with iron maybe?
This was my daughter just before her 3rd birthday. She didn’t get her first haircut until she was about 10 years old. 😂
