Breastfeeding after Breast Reduction
Have any mother’s had a breast reduction and still been able to breastfeed after? With my 2 other kids I had a very hard time.
My first daughter wouldn’t latch on at all. I tried 6 different nurses, a lactation nurse, things to put on your breast to make it easier for baby and nothing worked for her.
My second daughter I struggled with breastfeeding for about 2 weeks before it was just too hard and stressful on both of us. She wouldn’t latch properly and my overly huge boobs made it WAY to difficult to breastfeed. (Ps I was a 32 JJ USD)
Last year I decided to have a breast reduction because my back was always hurting and I could no longer afford bras and $200+ a piece.
I’m just wondering if I’ll be able to try and breast feed still and will it be easier now that I’m a 34 DD. Any advice on breastfeeding after a breast reduction would be great.
