Recommendations for breast feeding essentials and postpartum care?

Organic nipple cream, that way you don’t have to worry about washing your nipples off before you feed baby, tucks wipes to put on your pad/diaper (I prefer the always overnight that are like memory foam). The hospital will give you a bottle to rinse off with after using the restroom,which is nice.

First time mom here too. But I like the A Life in Labor blog and checklists. She has lists of breastfeeding and postpartum essentials amongst other things!

Nipple cream for breastfeeding.  My hospital also gave me tucks & hydrocortisone cream for postpartum care.  I’d layer the tucks on a pad and them put the hydrocortisone on top.  It worked wonders.
