Pieces of mucus plug? (No pic)

I'm almost 19 weeks pregnant and it seems like every time hubby and I do the deed (maybe like once or twice a week) the next day I will have a string of mucus in my discharge. It's kinda light yellow/light green no smell, just stringy. I know I've heard it can regenerate and what not but does that sound like what this is? And should I be worried that it seems to happen every time? I will ask my doc about it but my next appt isn't till 11/16. Thank you!
