Pregnant or just delayed period?

The first day of my last period was Oct. 4th and I went off birth control after that period. I'm about six days late based on my birth control cycle but I read it can take time to get your period after you stop birth control. I'm scared to get too excited that I'm pregnant. Does anyone have experience with this?

Like you, I came off birth control pill when I got my period. But then I skipped a whole month and didn't get my period again until the end of what should have been my second cycle. That was end of August. It took us a couple months after that to get preggers. You're probably not pregnant, but test if you want to be sure. Good luck for future.
