My now fiancé and I got engaged yesterday even though our anniversary is April 20th he just couldn’t wait and I’m over the moon excited! I’m working on calling close family members before making an announcement so they don’t just see it on Facebook. We’re telling his parents next weekend at dinner and I’m worried that they’re not going to be happy. His mom is the kind of person to try to talk you out of things because she thinks she’s right. But you live your life for yourself and not other people.

We have a 4 month old together and have lived together since we started dating.
