Do you think animal shelters are empty due to COVID19?

I have a hunch that all of these shelters are empty because people are getting lonely during quarantine and I'm SO AFRAID that they'll fill right back up when people go back to their normal lives because they're too busy for them😭 anybody else?

They’re actually very full right now because people are impulsively abandoning their pets due to fear they can get covid19 from them, specifically cats 🙁

No, they're very busy still. People can't volunteer but the staff are still there, the animals are still there and they're still getting in more and more.

I did see on live pd the other night one shelter was completely empty. I can’t remember where though my sister volunteers at a shelter and their pets are getting adopted every day. The surrenders are down too which is great. So they are getting rid of their animals daily which is great !!!
