Were you in labor longer with your first child?

I'm terrified. My mom has 7 kids and she said each one got easier, except the 13lb one 😬😬😬 her first she labored for 2 day's!!! Then the second she said slipped right out. I'm the 3rd and she said it was about 5 hours, and each one after me was about an hour less than the last. She only had pitocin  with the 13lb baby, everything else she had nothing.

My first I was induced (without knowledge of what they were doing but that's another story 🙄). They broke my water at 4cm to get labor going, I was fully dilated by 6 hours later but had an epidural so didnt push until 3.5 hours after that. My second I was induced with pitocin and labor and delivery was less than 3 hours, no pain medication. My third I was not induced and no pain meds and my labor and delivery was about 4-5 hours total.

My nurses assured me that my next births would be easier.... We will see lol. I was in labour for 24 hours with my son in December and I pushed for 3 and a half hours. Praying that my next labour isn't so rough.

I was about the same. My first (spontaneous labor) was about 11 hours and my second was about 12 hours (induced).

3 days with my first. Not sure how long I was in active labour for, though. With my second, I was in labour for 13 hours.

It’s funny because technically my second was shorted but only by minutes. Both started Saturday night and arrived Monday morning one at 4:26 am and the other at 4:22am. My kids are almost 4 years apart definitely not twins but it’s funny how my body just did that. One was born exactly on his due date and my first exactly one week overdue.... this time everything is different so I’m for an exiting ride

I induced with both at 39 weeks with GD with insulin1st 12 hours she came out 7lb 2oz  and with my son 6hours 7lb3oz the labour with my second was easy  I can labour in the shower and move around but with my daughter I have to lay on the bed unless I need to go to the toilet

First- had him 6 hours after water was broke
Second- had her 7 hours after water was broke
Not all labors are long and hard so dont stress.
