Pregnancy loss - I need to rant

I had three positive tests just before 5 weeks, but they were very faint. I knew something was wrong- so when all the symptoms disappeared and I started bleeding I knew it was a miscarriage. When the pain got so bad that painkillers did nothing I called nhs 111 for advice. They said to go to A&E. so I did, reluctantly. I thought it would be a waste of time and it was. They did a urine test and said it was negative. They said it was very unlikely to be negative so soon after getting a positive and that I was likely not even pregnant and just having a heavy period 👀

I’m sorry what???!

I don’t understand how they reached that conclusion when I’ve had THREE positive tests and my period was late (which it never is!) The whole experience has just left me feeling stupid and confused.
