(Background) Me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 years and a half. The first year of our relationship we were both still in high school and he made a lot of mistakes. He cheated a lot on social media, texting: stuff like that. We had a couple of break ups and usually I was the one to go back but over a year ago things were different. He made a huge effort with me. He changed. He became everything I knew he could be. Moving forward now. He is everything and more. Romantic, kind, hard-working, caring. He knows I struggle with trusting, and letting in too much given our past. Almost a year ago he made it clear that he no longer wanted social media and deleted everything. I still struggle with trusting him. It’s just very hard. He does everything for me, he’s a good man, but he went through a phase and it hurt me. Now that he’s trying to make up for it it’s just very hard to believe it. (Story) Yesterday he texted me he was closing down the store, which he always tells me. Usually if there is a customer there he will tell me too. He usually gets out around 6:00-6:20 and if it’s later he always tells me. I didn’t hear from him, and I called him a couple times and he didn’t answer. This went on for an hour. When he got to his car he called me, but I was already a mess. He FaceTimed me and showed me he was still at work. He told me that he was closing down the store and a customer was still there with another employee. I just don’t believe him tho. HE ALWAYS texts or calls. Was he hooking up with an employee? Was something going on? He keeps explaining how he didn’t cheat, I sort of looked through his phone yesterday and didn’t see anything. I’m just so scared.
