When to take maternity photos?

FTM and I am not good at being in photos and have been horrible at documenting my bump. I have not taken any pictures (well tried to take some last month but I just felt fat and ugly so I deleted them)    when did you take your maternity photos? - and with COVID there are no thrift stores open for me to find something to wear.

I am 31 weeks and just went out in nature yesterday with my friend to snap some pictures. No one was around and we kept our distance from each other. I normally would have gone out and bought something but because that is not possible I found a vintage slip in my closet that was my grandmothers that worked perfectly. I’m so happy I didn’t buy anything and ended up using what I had I saved money and it is way more meaningful.

Took a few pictures on Easter in what I was going to wear to church, I was 31 weeks. I wore a maxi skirt from lularoe that I wore higher up as a strapless dress with a short sleeved cardigan over it. They actually came out really nice!

One of my best friends husband is a photographer to we met at the lake and took some photos. I bought a cute dress for $40 off amazon and it was perfect! Here’s a photo of how I looked although I don’t have the professional ones yet.

I think I was 34 weeks with my first. I’m planning on taking some at home this time if I can.
