Hi all, I was diagnosed with vaginismus over 2 years ago and have had sex since (not as often as I’d like but every bang is a victory!), I recently opted for a copper IUD for hormone free contraception, and everything went great after a bit (a lot) of discomfort during the insertion. I had a very stressful couple of months following and am now in my second week of period (the worst), and my SO has been fantastic about my lack of intimacy recently because of everything.

I guess I’m looking for someone who doesn’t love me unconditionally to tell me that I’m perfectly justified in my anxiety to get jiggy with it again. I’m going to start my trainers again to try and boost my confidence but I’m just worried after the pain of the IUD procedure...
