My LO turned 4 months on 4/15 and up until then she was great at nursing. She would typically eat every 2-3 hours on both sides and be happy. She loves to eat and was happy all the time. Now she gets bored with things quickly, wants to have all the attention all the time (and so does the 2.5yo), and even when she acts hungry she throws a giant fit when I go to nurse. She is exclusively breastfed so i dont know where this is coming from. As soon as I get her in the position to nurse she starts to scream and cry then she gets so mad. When she finally calms down she will turn toward the breast but then want her fingers in her mouth at the same time and gets mad when that won’t work and starts the whole fit over again. She is also distracted by every little noise or flicker of light.

Is there such thing as a nursing strike at 4 months? Anyone else out there dealing with this?
