I read this one with my first and it helped me so much! I ended up getting an epidural, because I had been in labor for 30 hours and didn’t sleep the night before labor. So I was ready to sleep. Anyway, this book prepares you for labor, even if you end up getting the epidural. It’s pretty awesome! I made it 30 hours without it though! It just prepares you throughly for all the stages of labor and all the different possibilities of what can happen. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My mom gave me “what to expect when you’re expecting”.  I thought it was cheesy at first but it actually was a lot better than I expected.
