How long did it take for your LOs cord to fully fall out and be healed?

My babe had his fall out over a week ago, but it left a small piece in there. I wasn’t sure if it was just dried blood or more of the cord. His pediatrician said it looked like it’ll come out on it’s own soon and didn’t do anything for it. It’s still in there pretty tightly though and he’s 2w4d.
