Responding to name?

My son will not respond to his name- he's 7 months today. I read that was a milestone he should be hitting. 
He passed his hearing test and clearly hears other noises so I dont think its a hearing issue....
Anyone have any insight?

Not all babies hit milestones on time or at the time they are suppose to. My son is ahead on some and behind on others. All babies grow and develop differently so don’t stress it will happen

I noticed yesterday my son just started looking when I call his name, but he won’t do it if he’s distracted and he won’t do it if my husband calls him. Just give your baby some time. All babies hit milestones differently and you can always practice it with him.

Mine looks when we call him but don’t know if it’s because he knows his name or just because he hears me saying something 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wouldn’t worry! Sometimes my son looks when I say his name sometimes he doesn’t. I think more he looks because I’m talking not because I say his name. Don’t stress. All babies develop differently and individually.
