This is our first, and i know because of that, there'll be a lot of pressure from other people to find out so that they can get "the right color" gift.
  Sorta because of that, I want it to be a surprise. Boys get a good variety of color, but if it's a girl, I am absolutely NOT cool with pink everything. I prefer unisex colors when they're a baby (heck, you can still accessorize a girl up!), plus then you're all set for the next one-don't have to buy all new stuff in different colors.

I feel like moms-to-be get all the attention during pregnancy...I don't want to find out the gender so my husband can have his moment of being able to tell our family whether it's a girl or boy!

I'm 10 wks pregnant with our second and definitely not going to find out gender. With our first, some good friends really emphatically tried to convince us not to find out. Typically I just roll my eyes at strong opinions of other parents, but....

"There are very few real surprises in life. Real, joyful surprises that will make you gasp and cry and love even more. This is one."

They convinced us and it was amazing and shocking for us to hear "it's a girl!" I hope this  pregnancy goes well and my growing baby is strong so I can be so wonderfully surprised again.

I'll also add that not knowing in no way detracted from my bonding with the baby in my womb. Her womb name was Mario :), and I loved her intensely while she grew in my belly and I love her now.

I kind of want to find out but not tell anyone for the same reason. I really don't want a ton of pink!!

This will be our third and final child so I figured it would be amazing to find out when the baby is born. We'll just buy a few unisex things in the meantime. I think it will make that moment that much more special and memorable. :)
