Has any one experience brown discharge while pregnant and how long did it last?

I am 5 weeks and 5 days I went to the hospital yesterday believing I was just 4 weeks 4 days. I had brown discharge. They ran several test and gave me a pelvis check as well and a ultrasound. So all my tests came back good and the doctor told me I have a healthy baby (5weeks4days) and I was very shock because every time I go to the hospital it was always had news and now to get good news made me feel amazing. My brown discharge has decreased a lot but I was just wondering how long does it last.
