With the uncertainty of Covid-19, what is everyone thinking or doing about birthing classes?

I’m a FTM and I’m 20+4 at the moment. I know at this time, if times were normal, we would be looking into taking birthing classes or other types of classes for baby. Since they obviously aren’t holding any classes right now, I was just wondering what other people’s thoughts or plans were?

I bought a cheap online course through mommylabornurse on IG. I got it when it was on sale for like $30. And I just found a video recording on YouTube of a birth class and am going to check it out.
Tinyhood is offering their breastfeeding course for free during Covid and I thought it was helpful. The course usually costs $100 but you can get it free now and have access for a whole year.

If you have Instagram, mother.ly has free online birth classes available due to COVID. That’s what I am doing for now!

Pampers is offering their child education classes for free right now. They’re 7 videos of about 10 minutes each-but I did learn some things! Definitely going to take a “real” class through my local birthing center but it’ll probably have to be an online version.

Lamaze has lots of online courses that are pretty affordable, and I’ve been looking into a website called Tinyhood for baby care classes.

I’m looking into it. I’ve found some affordable ones but they look boring. I’m on baby number three and really need a pain management plan this time.

Second time mom here. I never did any birthing classes or Lamaze. I knew I wouldn’t remember when the actual labor started. I had great nurses and a slightly annoying husband who CONSTANTLY reminded me to breathe lol and had a pretty easy delivery. I’m sure there’s stuff on YouTube you could find for free though.

I had my first last year and thought about birthing classes. I never did them and decided that I'm just going to go with the flow. Everything worked out perfectly because I didn't have my heart set on a certain birth plan. But everyone is different.
