Am i wrong for this?

So this is baby number 3 for us & my husband doesn’t want to find out the gender cause we already have 1 of each but I on the other end needs to know / want to know the reason i need to know ... we gave away all our kids stuff and will have to start fresh over and i have friends with babies now who can give me their stuff so i wouldn’t have to waste money am i wrong?

I don't think you're wrong, but if the only reason you wanna know is because you need to know whether to get blue or pink clothes, you guys could just get gender neutral clothes from friends. 
I think it'd be fun to wait and see :)

Have you explained it to him the way you explained it to us? I don’t know if I could find out and not tell him, especially if it involves buying gender specific stuff. 
One thing you do have in your favor is he most likely won’t be able to go to ultrasounds/appointments. You can tell him your doctor accidentally let it slip.

You can always find out, and then hide anything that reveals gender and keep it away from him and do gender neutral nursery/bed things. I think you should give him that joy and excitement! Or just stick to gender neutral things from friends and family. You only get so many great surprises in life!

You're not wrong for wanting to know. But you can find out and not tell him. He doesn't have to know. It would be difficult because if you're acquiring objects that are gendered that could give it away but maybe you can put the objects in a spot to be kept safe until it's time.
