When is a good time to have the baby shower?

Since twins can come early and on their own time, I’m trying to figure out the best time to have the baby shower. I want to have it far enough that the babies won’t surprise us and come early. But I also don’t want to have it too early on.

Mine was at 27 weeks, and it was actually 2 weeks later than i originally wanted. I am so thankful we did it then. I carried until 37 weeks but it gave me time to sort and set things up. I was so exhausted I had to do a little at a time.

I didn’t get to have any (due to isolation/ social distancing requirements) but I can say that I’m currently in my 30th weeks of pregnancy with twins and wouldn’t have wanted to have it now, as I’m miserable (exhausted, in pain, difficulty walking/moving, etc). I had hoped to have mine around 27-28 weeks before I had to cancel due to the current situation...

With my singleton pregnancy I even had it at 30 weeks & I was happy I did it so early! It gave me more time to get it all organized & buy anything else we needed that we didn’t get as gifts!

I had mine around 29-30 weeks. Ended up on strict hospital bedrest a week later. Have it sooner rather than later.

I had mine around 28-30 weeks. I can't remember exactly. But I gave birth at 36 weeks.
