Tryin for a baby

Hello I been tryin to get pregnant for a while now and the 11th of this month I had unprotected sex my partner didn’t pull out i was in the stage of ovulation but I took a test this Monday and it came out negative my period is in 8 days now is there a chance of pregnancy still ? And I just wait to see if I get my period
