Anyone else 100% effaced but only barely dilated??

Question

Do I am 38 plus 1 and just got my cervix checked. I am totally effaced, but just a fingertip dilated. Anyone else in the same boat??? I am actually really patient, and don't mind waiting for the baby to come at the right time, but just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat!?

I'm in the same exact boat. I'm 38+1, 100% effaced, and only 1.5 cm. I had a membrane sweep yesterday because my husband has to go back to work in Alaska next week if she doesn't arrive. Hoping this progress a little from the sweep. So far I'm not having anything new except a bit more discharge. It's frustrating because if nothing happens before the 12th, I'll be having her without my husband around.

I was 80% effaced a week ago and have been having a ton more pressure. Only 2cm dilated though. Every day I feel like this is the day...and then it's not.
