how long does your LH surge last?!

mine goes on for like 2/3 days! sooo do i baby dance when i get my initial positive i heard that you stop testing once you get a positive but i was only wondering since mine last so long so do you ovulate after the surge is done? or that has nothing to do with it it’s just the initial positive?

The length of your surge doesnt matter and cannot tell you about when you ovulate. Assume you'll ovulate the day after your first positive. Then stop taking opks. If you want to know with more accuracy when you ovulate (and that you ovulated) you have to temp

It doesn’t matter how many positives you get Ovulation is in 12-48 hours after positive if you want to know when you ovulated and dpo you would need to be temping to confirm ovulation.

It can last up to 3 days so when you get a positive I would bd that day and the next 2-3 days :)
