Most pregnancy tests are accurate the day of your missed period. You would need to wait approximate 2 weeks from your ovulation date, or 4 weeks from the last day of your last period. If your period is late and you dont get a positive on the day of your missed period you should try again every 2-4 days as that's when your HCG hormone doubles/quadruples. If it isnt positive after a week I'd make an appointment with your doctor if you are actively ttc. Sometimes periods are late for other reasons though such as stress!
