Jasper, is it a pet name?

I only ask because my daughter is called Poppy, and in the uk atleast in England where I am in the Midlands every other dog, cat, rabbit, whatever is called Poppy 😂 don't want to go through that again!

I had a cat named Casper, I had him when I was born and he lived to be 20, I was 15 when he died. 
Now I'm naming my kid after him lol! Not really because of the cat but honestly just because I love the name. I had the hardest time figuring out a name, it was ridiculous. But the name Casper called to me and clicked immediately when I finally considered it.
