I am a nanny and Today at work I was told that I will not be getting paid my promised maternity leave and that they cannot afford to have me come back. I'm so depressed now. I wasn't expecting to get paid for leave so when they offered to pay me for the month I was happy and also relieved. We agreed on 6 weeks leave with 4 weeks pay. Now, the day of my maternity leave they tell me im sorry we can't pay you nor can we have you come back. I'm pretty upset, I was counting on this money and a job when I got back. I know things happen :/ I just needed to vent sad to know that now only do I have to get an emergency c section now I don't have a job to come back nor payment for the month.
