Have any of you moved to another state with your kids? I’m losing my mind. We’ve lived in Ohio our whole lives, same general area. My husband is seriously considering we move to Mississippi. My aunt and uncle live in Mississippi so it wouldn’t be like moving where we don’t know anyone. My husband has no reservations about moving whatsoever and apparently thinks I’m ridiculous for thinking about all the reasons NOT to move. Backstory: I am a sahm, my girls are 7 and 2 and I’m 19 weeks pregnant. My husband works for a national brand and it would be fairly easy to move and he would make almost twice his current salary. Houses are also significantly cheaper in Mississippi than Ohio so we would live more comfortably. He just feels stagnant in his career and thinks a move would help him along. I don’t know a timeline but I assume next summer because of my oldest daughter being in school. She’ll be in the 3rd grade next year and she has diagnosed anxiety but she isn’t on medication because it’s manageable. She has nervous habits and overthinks and is really emotional. She honestly adjusts really well to most things but this scares me. She loves my parents, and we’ve lived with my parents off and on throughout the years because of previous financial troubles. Im just really emotional right now with being pregnant and I keep thinking about all the negatives. If you’ve made a move out of state what made you decide to go?
