Fetal Doppler issues?

Ok so I have a Sonoline B fetal Doppler. I’m 13 weeks and 2 days. I’ve had This Doppler for a few days now and I’ve consistently had the same result and I’m a little worried about it. The heart rate once I find it will start at between 125 and 132 then it was start slowing down and the numbers will just count down and it’s gotten down to like 111 and I’m just wondering if any of you have experienced the same? I called the dr and they said it’s probably fine and there are many factors going into it and it could just be the Doppler... but have any of you experienced this and the baby was okay?

It took me a couple of weeks of using my Sonoline B Doppler to get a consistent bpm. Unless it’s a very clear heartbeat for like 15 seconds+ the Doppler can’t calculate it properly. If baby is moving or in a position where it’s too quiet it won’t be accurate. And yeah, I feel like it defaults to 125 when it can’t calculate bpm which is weird.

My doppler never shows the right number. When my doctor did it it was 165 and got home and doppler said 125. They're not really reliable, just nice to hear the hb 🙂

Mine never reads the heartbeat. I just listen and don’t pay attention to the screen. Also, make sure you’re not getting your heartbeat.. I check my pulse while I’m listening to make sure. Sometimes I get so anxious to hear the baby that my heart rate gets up there lol.

I would say if you have consulted your doc and they are not worried you are good. I know for some using the Doppler totally added in needed stress. When you think about it doctors are very practiced with using it every day. It will take time to get good at using it and understanding what your doing!
