Went in to the hospital after having my membranes stripped, and was contracting every 5-6 minutes. I was still only 3 cms but they kept me and were going to reevaluate in the morning. At 2 am, my contractions were coming every 2-3 minutes and I started bleeding quite a bit. She checked again and I was 5 cms, so I got an IV and some stadol and was able to rest a little. When it wore off around 5:30, I was 8 cms! My doc came in at 7:33 and broke my water and Julianna Grace was born at 7:58! It was a quick, intense natural birth! She had the cord wrapped around her neck a couple of times, but she is perfect!!
