Is the spinal block for a C section about the same amount of pain as the epidural?

I didn't even feel my spinal block go in? Although they did numb the area beforehand so maybe that's why (although they still used a needle to numb me and I didn't feel that either 😅)

I have heard the spinal is a little more intensive but it should t be “painful”, more like uncomfortable. Idk I would like to know because I am having my first too. I didn’t think the epidurals hurt at all, of course I was happy to have them at the time because I was already in pain.

My spinal block hurt so much I fainted and just remember being woken up with alcohol n told I need to keep myself awake. It was also a hectic and scary experience with an emergency c section I think my nerves were extremely high. Hoping this c section goes super smooth.
