Fabric softener for baby clothes?

Do you use fabric softener for baby clothes? If so, what kind?

I use vinegar for my families clothes and will do so for my newborn as well. 
It’s softens the clothes and also leaves a very nice fresh scent. I was a little hesitant the first time too lol 
I just add it during the rinse fill up. Probably about 1/3 a cup.

I use all "free and gentle" products and I've never had any problems with my other 2 babies. So I will continue that. I'm pretty sure all brands have a "free and gentle" product, I use tide and downy.

I think it’s unnecessary chemicals. We use dryer balls.

I have sensitive skin as it is so we use free and gentle detergent and softener. I use the same stuff for my toddler and will use it for the new baby as well.

I never really thought about it until I read that. I looked up some baby fabric softener on amazon but they didn’t have many options so I’m probably not gonna use any
