Lost our precious gift today
We had a very strong heartbeat 3 weeks ago at our first ultrasound appointment. Wednesday I went in for my 10 week checkup and found no heartbeat. We confirmed it again yesterday and my precious baby was only measuring 8 weeks… we lost the baby 2 weeks ago and body hadn't realized it yet. Today I had surgery to perform a D&C.
I'm still a little numb and just now as I'm writing this, I'm realizing that my uterus is now empty and our gift is gone…
We are Christian and my husband and I both strongly believe that God had a reason and we are trusting in Him and staying close to one another.
