Period chart and birth control don’t add up?

So I’m on the pill and the eve app says that my period is supposed to start today but the birth control tin doesn’t say I will start until Monday. Does anyone know which I should go off of? I’ve been on the b/c for about three months and the app has been right up until this month, any advice would be greatly appreciated

The birth control pack is more accurate, since that’s what is mainly controlling ur “period”. That said, ur withdrawal bleed/“period” can actually come anytime during the placebo/break week of ur birth control, from the first day to the last day. And, one of the ways hormonal birth control works is by thinning the uterine lining, which can sometimes result in little to no bleeding during that week. As long as ur taking the pills properly, then that’s all that matters
