Hi guys, I’m 17 almost 18 and sexually active with my boyfriend.

About a week ago I developed a UTI I believe, because I needed to pee frequently and it had a burning sensation - typical UTI. Took the medication needed for UTIs and now I feel like it’s something different. I still have to pee more frequently than usual and it still has a less severe burning sensation, but now something down there is constantly throbbing and feels like a weight constantly on me when I walk. My period doesn’t start for another week and today I’ve noticed blood spotting, a normal red/blood color. Any ideas? I’ve never had spotting before. I feel like I’m in constant discomfort.

My boyfriend and I always use condoms and check.
