I take a DHA supplement since my prenatal doesn't have any in it. I don't eat enough fish to get the recommended dose from diet alone. If you're prenatal doesn't have it, I'd suggest it. Like one of the other posters suggested though, I'd recommend against one made from cod liver oil.

There is omega 3 in the prenatal vitamins you should be taking so I would not suggest taking fish oil along with it

I know you shouldn't have cod liver oil because it has too much vitamin A,which causes birth defects.
