I thought I was done with having babies but I have a new partner and we think we’d like a baby together.

I’m 36, both my boys were conceived the first month of trying but in my early 20s and with a different dad.

I still have a mirena coil in. Will get it out after all this is over. But I thought I’d check if I was ovulating while I’m waiting. The internet says after year one ovulation isn’t likely to be inhibited by the coil.

So I started testing with opk 5 days ago. I have 4 with a faint line and then today it’s showing high but not peak. I was sick this morning for absolutely no reason and I have a bad pain on my left side near my hip that started last night.

Does this sound like I am ovulating? My boyfriend doesn’t live with me so there’s no urgency of knowing as I still have the coil and we can’t do anything about it anyway. I would just like reassured that I “still work”
